Silver “A” Champions in Wasaga Beach!
Submitted By SRichardson on Sunday, December 13, 2015
Another exciting tournament win for the team where they claimed the Silver “A” Championship in Wasaga Beach!

After a heartbreaking 6-3 loss in the first round against Shelbourne, Midland Atom 2 went on to the Silver Division where they faced off against Nobleking. Nobleking was no match for the Midland team and succumbed 5-1 placing Midland in top spot going in to the Silver “A” finals. The championship game had us lined up with Wasaga Beach but home ice advantage could not help Wasaga as they fell to the Mighty Midland team 9-4.

Player of the game awards were presented to Lucas Bartosiak and Myles Shaffer for their outstanding efforts! The Most Valuable Player award was selected by the opposing team during the final game and awarded to Owen Langridge!  Keep up the great work boys!

Hats off to the team, you all played with determination and great sportsmanship!

Both Midland Atom LL teams did exceptionally well in Wasaga Beach Tournament walking away with both Silver and Gold Championships! Congratulation to our rivals, Midland LL#1 on their Gold Championship win!

Well done Midland!
