Challenge Cup Champions!
Midland Atom Atomic 2 claimed the title of Challenge Cup Champions in North Bay this past weekend with 4 straight wins!
They defeated Rayside Wildcats 4-0, North Bay Giant Tigers 8-1 and Hilltop Dental 6-4 placing them in top spot to face-off again with the Rayside Wildcats in the finals.
Both teams came out strong and the fans were loud but Midland pulled off an impressive 7-0 win. Lincoln Howe stood tall in the net and received his second shut out of the season. Goals in the final game were scored by Nic Cote(3) JoFish Moffatt(2) Myles Shaffer(1) and Ryan Jeffery(1).
Every player displayed great sportsmanship and teamwork and should be proud of their success!
