The Boathouse Eatery Atom Rep team capture Bradford Blue & Gold Rep Tournament Championship
Submitted By Mark Dininio on Friday, October 27, 2017
Congratulations to The Boathouse Eatery Atom Rep team on winning the 2017 Bradford Blue & Gold Atom A championship on October 15th!

The team finished the tournament with an amazing 6-0 record to claim the championship title.

They started the tournament on Friday with a couple tight matchups in round robin play against the Port Credit Storm and St. Catherines Garden City Falcons winning both of these matches with a score of 2-1.

On Saturday they saw much of the same low scoring affairs, tight defensive game, and superb goaltending to advance to the semifinals.  On Saturday morning to finish round robin play they won 2-0 over the Whitby Wildcats White team and because of pool standings were matched up against Whitby again in the quarter finals and were victorious with a 1-0 win to advance.

Sunday was a much different story for the Midland squad, after a great night sleep and a home cooked meal, the team was able to kick into high gear offensively and provide the goaltenders with much more support.  With a 6-0 victory over the East Gwillimbury Eagles in the semifinals and a 5-0 win over the Napean Raiders in the finals the Boathouse Eatery Atom Rep team were awarded the much deserved championship!!

The whole team had a lot of fun and played exceptional over the entire weekend – congratulations to all of the team members, coaches and parents!

Go Cents Go!
