MMHA Banquet 2015-2016
Submitted By hbressette on Friday, May 13, 2016
A huge thank you to all those who attended the banquet last night.

Congratulations to all our award winners! A special thanks to Kyle Bochek for being our guest speaker.  The audience loved it and it was very much appreciated by all of MMHA.

Thank you to all our guests who took the time to come out and support MMHA and the players who worked very hard this year.

The Midland Silver Stick Committee once again donated bikes for prizes. This year they donated 3 bikes which were purchased from our Sponsor Canadian Tire.

The lucky Silver Stick bike winners drawn by Michael Ferris (Cdn. Tire) and Ross McConnell (Silver Stick) were:  William Van der weg  (Novice),  Jacob Duncan (Atom) and Alex Moffat (Midget).

Our lucky $50.00 off registration for 2016-2017 (drawn by various members of head table) were:

IP Division - Drew Sinclair and Gleb Khvaline
Tyke Division - Jagger Clarke and Ethan Parnell
Atom Division - Aarren Primerano and Nathan Seemann
Peewee Division - Michael Poole and Ben Rawson
Bantam Division - Andrew Foster and Kyle Weatherell
Midget Division - Austin Baverstock and Gavin Maheu

(if you have registered the Treasurer will adjust and add the $50.00 credit for the banquet)

It was a very special night with presentation of the new Danny Woods Trainer Award - in memory of Danny. Thank you to Jane Wood and Kevin for presenting the award.

Midland Minor Hockey Association also presented a lifetime membership award to Ross McConnell.  Ross has been an avid supporter of Midland Minor Hockey for decades and we thank him for all his support and assistance over the years.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this another successful year of hockey.

Enjoy the summer and see you in August for Rep Tryouts.  Remember to register by May 20 and drop off payment prior to the deadline to save the $50.00.
