Novice LL2 Winterfest Tournament Champions
Congratulations
to the Dodge Caravan Novice LL2 team for their convincing Winterfest tournament win on Saturday. The boys defeated Barrie Red 4 – 2; TNT 10 –
0 and Innisfil Winterhawks 5 – 2 in the championship game.
The players, parents and coaches would like to thank Shannon Richardson and her organizing committee for all of their efforts [both seen and unseen] in putting together a first–class tournament. Everyone at the event could see that real thought went into ensuring that everyone in the family would have a great time throughout the day. Pairing this hockey event with the town’s Winterfest activities really separates this tournament from many of the others. Our team really enjoyed the chuck-a-puck, the skills competition, laser tag and loot bags! We would also like to thank the parents for all of the healthy snacks and positive support they provided the team with throughout the day. We couldn’t have done it without you. Great job boys in winning your second tournament this year!
