Peewee LL 2 - Templeton Windows, MMHA 2017-2018 (Midland Minor Hockey Association)

After finishing their regular season schedule the day before, the Midland Peewee LL 2 – Templeton Windows competed in the annual Wasaga Beach tournament on Sunday, January 28.  The Centennials posted a 5-2 victory in their first game over Beeton.  This put them on the championship side, where they had to face their regular season rivals and home town favourites from Wasaga Beach in the second game.  Midland won that game, too, by a score of 8-3 which put them into the final against Mariposa.  

It was another great weekend of hockey for the Peewee LL2 - Templeton Windows team as they travelled to Schomberg to compete in the annual Red and White Tournament.  They faced tough competition in the all-day, three-game event, prevailing with a narrow 4-3 victory over Beeton in a shoot-out in their first game.  This placed the Centennials on the Championship side and they defeated East Gwillimbury 10-0 in their second game.  Finally, they faced a squad from Mariposa and skated to a convincing 7-2 win, nearly 11 hours after their first game to secure the Championship banner.
