Peewee LL2 - Templeton Windows win Schomberg Red & White Tournament
It was another great weekend of hockey for
the Peewee LL2 - Templeton Windows team as they travelled to Schomberg to
compete in the annual Red and White Tournament.
They faced tough competition in the all-day, three-game event, prevailing with a narrow 4-3 victory over Beeton in a shoot-out in their first game. This placed the Centennials on the Championship side and they defeated East Gwillimbury 10-0 in their second game. Finally, they faced a squad from Mariposa and skated to a convincing 7-2 win, nearly 11 hours after their first game to secure the Championship banner.
The boys worked hard and supported each other as they displayed good sportsmanship and worked hard every shift, putting “team success” ahead of all else. Congratulations to the players, bench staff and parents on a successful and memorable weekend. They were all excellent ambassadors for Midland and Midland Minor Hockey.
