Midget Rep - Royal Cdn. Legion Branch 80, MMHA 2016-2017 (Midland Minor Hockey Association)

Congratulations to the Midget Rep team as they capped a successful season with a strong finish in the Georgian Bay playdowns.  The Centennials completed the Round Robin stage with a 5-0-1 record to finish as the first seed, and set up a three game Championship series against Collingwood.  Midland never trailed, sweeping Collingwood, with a 4-2 game one win, and taking game two 5-1. 

Congratulations to the Midland Branch 80 Legion Midgets on reaching the finals of the Brampton Silver Stick.  The Midgets compiled a 1-1-1 record in round robin play. They opened the tournament with a 3-3 tie against Flamborough and then faced off against a strong Bradford team losing 3-0.  The third game had the Midget Reps skate to a 10-0 victory over TNT.

The Midland Branch 80 Midgets are the Schomberg Red & White Champs.  The Midgets were undefeated in the tournament.  They posted wins over: Georgina Blaze - 8-1, Saugeen Shores 9-2, Loyalists Jets 5-2 and in the championship Bancroft Jets 5-2. Congrats boys!

Midland Branch 80 Midgets competed in the Elmvale Brian English Memorial Tournament this past weekend. They went undefeated.
