Submitted By mmha Admin on Sunday, October 18, 2015
It was a busy weekend for 3 of our Rep teams. Huronia Steel Novice Rep team travelled to Parry Sound to compete in the Bobby Orr Classic.  The Boathouse Eatery Atom Rep travelled to Caledonia to compete in the Caledonia Challenge Cup and the Bourgeois Motors Peewee Rep travelled to Huntsville to compete in the Huntsville Peewee Rep tournament.

The Huronia Steel Novice Rep team won their first three games :
4-1 over Ingersoll, 13-0 over West Ferris and 7-0 over the host Parry Sound Shamrocks.  They would meet Ingersoll in the semi-final and lost a hard fought battle 3-2 (3OT's).  Great tournament Novice Reps.

The Boathouse Eatery Atom reps in preliminary games won 2-0 over Petrolia, lost 2-0 to Dundas and defeated the host Caledonia Thunder 4-3.  They would move onto the semi's to face Milton after regulations and overtime it would go to a shootout.  Midland scored the winning shootout goal(after a few rounds) to move onto the championship.

The Atom Reps would face off against the Dundas Blues and they got redemption winning the championship game 5-1.  The Boathouse Eatery Atom reps are the Caledonia Challenge Cup Champions!!

The Bourgeois Motor Peewee Reps travelled to Huntsville and in preliminary  games defeated Parry Sound 8-1, tied Saugeen Shores 2-2 and defeated Barrie Colts 1-0.

They would face off against the tournament host Huntsville in the semi. The Peewees came out on top 3-1 to advance to the championship game.  In the final the Peewee Rep faced the Oshawa Minor Generals and defeated them 2-1 to claim the Huntsville Peewee Rep Championship!

Congrats to all three teams on a great weekend of hockey and representing Midland so proudly! GO Cents GO!
