Non-Resident Fee for Arena Usage

As the Town of Midland has been going through its budget deliberations, we wanted to inform you all that unfortunately, they passed the $200 per family non-resident fee yesterday.

This means that if you do not live in Midland, you will have to pay the Town of Midland $200 per family to use their arena. THIS APPLIES ONLY TO THOSE WHO USE THE RINK SURFACES.

To say we are devastated by this decision is an understatement. If you live outside of Midland, please contact your township, MPs, or anyone who will listen. We have strived to keep our registration costs low so that your children can continue to play the sport they love. We feel that this is a direct attack on hockey families and other sports families that use the arena.

We are unsure of how they are going to implement this or when they expect it to start, but we will keep everyone updated once we get more information!
