Tournament Rules and Lunch schedule
Midland Minor Hockey welcomes all teams. Thank you for participating in our tournament.
Please Note:
Three 10 minute stop time periods.
Run time in any period if goal difference is 5 or greater until difference is reduced to less than 5.
In the event of a tie game, there will be a five (5) minute sudden victory overtime, if still tied it turns to a three player shoot out. (followed by sudden death shoot out if still tied) NHL style....different shooter for each shot until team every player has shot and then can repeat.
Each player receives an award.
This is a one day tournament with 3 games guaranteed.
Skills Competition included.
Rules as follows:
One player for each event.
A - Fastest skater, timed one lap. One player per team.
B - Puck control - obstacle course. Timed. One player per team.
C - Shoot Out - one player, one Goalie per team.
D - Player shoots on the goalies once. Player with most goals win. Goalie with the fewest goals allowed wins.
Sudden death to break ties.
Lunch: All players and bench staff will receive free pizza lunch in the Multi purpose room
11:15 AM Midland #1, Barrie #4, Beeton and Collingwood
12:15 PM Barrie Fire, Penetang, French River and Midland #2
