Midland Lions 72nd Effective Speaking competition now open!
Submitted By Mark Dininio on Friday, January 11, 2019
The Midland Lions will be hosting the 72nd Effective Speaking Competition in our community on WED MARCH 6, 2019. This event has been a success because of your valued ongoing support of our program.

The purpose of the Lions Effective Speaking Competition is not only to provide an opportunity for competitive speaking, but to also stimulate self expression and independent thinking among students.

In previous years, we have allowed only 2 students from each school to participate in each division however we are changing the registration to a first come, first serve basis. This means that should you have additional students willing to participate please feel free to register them.

Registration can be completed either online through https://goo.gl/forms/vobiORMjgPzS8eAq1 or via email through [email protected] or call Monika Milek-Hopkins at 705-725-3865. If there is an overwhelming demand, we will try and accommodate all participants but there are no guarantees, so please register and commit to this great event early.

Good luck to all participants!
