Midland Branch 80 Legion Midgets Brampton Silver Stick Finalists
Congratulations to the Midland Branch 80 Legion Midgets on reaching the finals of the Brampton Silver Stick.
The Midgets compiled a 1-1-1 record in round robin play. They opened the tournament with a 3-3 tie against Flamborough and then faced off against a strong Bradford team losing 3-0. The third game had the Midget Reps skate to a 10-0 victory over TNT.
The Midgets would then meet the hometown team Brampton in the semi's securing a spot in the finals with a 5-4 win. This would be a rematch against Bradford.
The Midgets lost a close championship game 5-4. However, they secured an invitation to the International Silver Stick in Sarnia January 13-15, 2017. Good Luck to the Midget Reps.
